High-waisted knit pants are my secret for looking taller in both photos and real life. I tried these pants on at Naaz, a local boutique in Fishtown, Philadelphia and immediately loved how I felt in them, i.e. tall. I wore them with a black long sleeve crop top and heels to elevate the knit material. We went to dinner with friends that night to Ken Loves BYOB in Fishtown and I wore this exact outfit layered with a leather jacket. These two Fishtown businesses are the epitome of Philly Gems. Ken Loves BYOB is one of the best restaurants in Northern Liberties in my opinion. The entire atmosphere is wonderful with fantastic food, chill music and the chef/owner cooking in an open kitchen while singing/making jokes.

Back to the high-waisted knit pants – they are a great staple piece to have in your closet. The owners at Naaz have a wonderful eye for unique clothes that will survive passing trends. I’ve gotten some of my favorite pieces there, including this long sleeve top.
