I’d like to begin this post by saying thank you for your warm wishes and excitement over baby #3! I am so thankful for all of you and the thoughtful messages I have received over the past 24 hours. This community means more to me than you know.
I have another little surprise I have been excited to roll out over the past few months. Welcome to the first style diary – Winter + Work. The style diary consists of items I love and recommend often. It’s truly a visual representation of my style and what I have been wearing most recently. Each page is individually curated and hand-picked based on design, quality and price. It is a labor of love and I’m really excited to share it with you.
I have been thinking about this idea for a while but wasn’t sure exactly how to execute it in a way that would make the style diary a truly valuable resource. As a side project, I create personalized lookbooks for women based on their individual style needs. After sending a sample of the lookbook to friends and making some adjustments, it was clear that this would be a great resource on the blog as well. My goal is for the style diary to be a helpful tool when you’re figuring out what to wear. Every outfit is picked and ready-to-wear with direct links so you have one less thing to worry about in the morning. You can also mix and match so the pieces have longer staying power in your closet.
All about the Winter Work Style Diary
The first style diary is all about refreshing your work wardrobe in the Winter. The work setting is less traditional now. Whether you work from home or in an office setting or both, your wardrobe needs vary on a daily basis. As we all know, workwear and Winter don’t mix very well. The cold temperatures, slippery sidewalks, and subconscious desire to stay indoors at all costs provide perhaps the most challenging sartorial obstacle. With this style diary as a guide, you can stay stylish on even the coldest Winter days.
Bonus, as a thank you for your support, I teamed up with a group of bloggers to give one lucky winner a $500 gift card to Target. Details on how to enter are below, good luck!
If you have a minute, I would love your feedback. What are your thoughts on the first style diary? Do you consider this a helpful resource?
