Fall Coats on Rotation
When it comes to getting dressed in the Fall, my mind immediately jumps to coats. A structured coat is an essential that makes every outfit look classic. Yes, even sweatpants and sneakers, which coincidentally make up the majority of my Fall wardrobe between the hours of 7am and 9am, aka school dropoff. A well-fitting coat will be your best sartorial purchase this season. Above are the top five Fall coats I have on rotation and will be wearing through the Winter. If you’re going to have one piece of outerwear this Fall, make it a camel coat. It makes every outfit look chic and timeless. Most often, I alternate between my camel and grey coats for everyday. For special occasions, I’ll wear the plaid one or opt for a lighter oatmeal option as shown below. Much of my Fall and Winter wardrobe consists of black jeans and a white t-shirt with booties so a classic coat is a great way to pull everything together.
