A few weeks ago, J and I went on a day date to Pearl and Mary Oyster Bar in Philadelphia and I wore this dress (more on that in a few). We started off with a tennis lesson and then rewarded ourselves with some Bloody Mary’s and Oysters for lunch. This was special for a number of reasons. One, it’s the end of the school year and everything is happening at once so it’s just a busy time of the year. Two, we love our kids and everything but we also love taking time for just the two of us. We don’t get that chance very often so when it happens, we are very appreciative. After a fast-paced week, it’s nice to slow down for a minute and have a conversation (without interruptions). 🙂

Now, the dress. I was in the mood to step it up and wear something on the sexier side but in a subtle way. The front of the dress is pretty conservative but the back, oh the back! This is the reason I bought the dress. I love the lace details and how it drapes in the back in a v-shape. It’s a statement for sure and expect some turning heads as you walk down the street.
