One of the most frequent questions I get from readers and friends is where to find classic heels that are comfortable for work. I have my favorite brands that I have personally tried and loved but the brand I recommend most often is Sarah Flint. Sarah Flint heels are timeless and have that classic look that everyone searches for but is so hard to find. Most of the heels I find are either too uncomfortable, too expensive, or don’t have quite the right shape.
I have the ‘Perfect Pump 100’ in black suede and gunmetal lame fabric. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I wear and post about them often. They’re not cheap but the quality is exactly what you want in a work shoe. I also have a $50 off discount code at the end of the post if you’re thinking about adding to cart. I wear the black suede and gunmetal lame fabric heels often with black tights.
‘The Perfect Pump 100’
This Winter during the holiday party circuit, they were my go-to heels. When I needed to put an outfit together quickly, I turned to these pumps to complete the look. Most often, that outfit ended up being a slip dress with an oversized coat, black tights and the ‘Perfect Pump 100’ heels. I think it’s such a sexy look without being too revealing. The ‘Perfect Pump’ also comes in two lower heel heights, 85 mm and 50 mm depending on preference. I’m 5’3” and have been wearing heels to compensate for my height since middle school so I prefer the higher height.
These heels are innovative and have comfort-driven features so you can wear them for a full work day without feeling the need to immediately switch to flats. Sarah Flint shoes are handmade in Italy in the same factories as brands like Manolo Blahnik, Hermes and Christian Louboutin. From hand-stitching outsoles to placing small features by hand, the heels are made with care and attention to detail.
Innovative design for a classic, comfortable heel
There are certain features that make them more comfortable compared to most pumps:
♥ Foam cushioning – an additional 6 mm of memory foam at the footbed
♥ Wider toe box – eases foot crowding and discomfort
♥ Anatomical arch support – an added mold supports the natural arch of the foot
♥ Rubber outsole – no-slip grip for secure walkability and longevity
♥ V-shaped vamp – to show just the right amount of ‘toe cleavage’
♥ Steel rod stiletto – for improved durability and longevity.
There are also some beautiful boots and flats that I haven’t personally worn yet but they’re on my list. Here are some of my favorite Sarah Flint shoes (for $50 off, use code “BATANYAK50”):
Full disclosure, I am a brand ambassador for Sarah Flint shoes because I truly love and believe in the brand and wear them myself often. The Gunmetal Lame Fabric Heels were gifted to me and I bought the black suede pair myself.
