the Sunday edit

I’m 35 weeks pregnant and quickly approaching my due date. It’s so surreal to me that our lives are about to change again and we’re bringing a new baby into our world. I can’t wait to meet him or her and finally find out the gender! In other news, this weekend we’re celebrating my mom’s leap year birthday and my mother-in-law’s birthday so we’ll be surrounded by love and family. Once the baby comes, we’ll be in hibernation mode so it’s been fun going to birthdays and other events every weekend in anticipation of a stretch of home days. Have a wonderful week and happy Sunday!

There’s no such thing as quality time. ““I’m a believer in the ordinary and the mundane. These guys that talk about ‘quality time’ — I always find that a little sad when they say, ‘We have quality time.’ I don’t want quality time. I want the garbage time. That’s what I like. You just see them in their room reading a comic book and you get to kind of watch that for a minute, or [having] a bowl of Cheerios at 11 o’clock at night when they’re not even supposed to be up. The garbage, that’s what I love.”

This is the perfect maternity tank dress that can be worn as is or layered, in the Summer and Winter. I have it in grey and blank.

We’re buying very few things for the baby this time around but I love this newborn gift set.

This baby dream blanket from Aden + Anais is so soft with a chic design.

In case you missed it, what to wear in the third trimester.

I love these maternity t-shirts from H&M (2 for $25).

This beige ribbed knit dress is great for work and you can’t beat the price at $36.99.
