If you’re planning on purchasing any hair, makeup or skincare items before the end of the year, this is the time to get it. I usually take this opportunity to purchase items I’m running out of and products I’ve been meaning to try. Here are some of my favorite products, including those that I continue to restock on!

What I’m rebuying

Make Up For Ever Foundation StickI’ve tried many different foundations but this is a favorite of mine. It has great coverage, I can apply it quickly, and it doesn’t create that cake-like finish that we all try to avoid. A little goes a long way so I use a minimal amount and then blend with a Beauty Blender. It’s creamy and has a nice dewy finish that helps make your skin look alive. Good skincare comes first but if I need some additional coverage, I rely on this product.

Beauty BlenderThis is more than just your average sponge. The Beauty Blender makes my foundation look smooth and gives it an airbrush-like finish. I originally wasn’t sure about spending $20 on a sponge but it’s one of my most versatile beauty tools. It’s also great for blending in your concealer since you can get close to your eye with the pointed end.

Anastasia Brow Wiz: I use this pencil to fill in my eyebrows and create more of an arch shape. It creates hair-like strokes and helps fill in spots where brow hair is sparse. I like that it creates a more defined shape but still looks natural. I’ve gone through about 5 refills already and will continue to restock during Sephora sales. I like that it lasts all day but a major drawback is that the mechanical lead runs out quickly so I usually keep an extra one around.

Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Liner: This is the perfect eye liner for your water line because it stays all day and is highly pigmented. I use the “zero-black” color and love how easily it glides on without smudging. I noticed that it it needs to be sharpened often, otherwise the color is more dull and comes off more easily. With a good pencil sharpener, this is the eye liner I use on a daily basis.

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum: I’ve gone through two bottles of this serum and recently raved about in my skincare routine post. It exfoliates built-up dead skin cells and resurfaces uneven skin for a brighter and more even-looking complexion. I apply this at night to my face (avoid the eye area) and neck.

Sunday Riley C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum: I recently started using the Sunday Riley brightening serum and love how it makes my skin feel. I use this in the morning before a moisturizer and then my standard make-up routine. This is a Vitamin C serum, which has antioxidant properties, helps with dark spots and discolorations and helps fight the first signs of aging caused by stress, pollution, sun and lifestyle related factors. I like the pre-make up glow it provides and will definitely be restocking once I run out. It’s expensive so I recommend trying a sample first to make sure you love it or purchasing during a sale.

Ouai Wave Spray: I like to use this wave spray when I air dry my curls or when I put my hair in a wet bun. It creates a nice finished look without feeling dry or crunchy. It’s very light and provides a nice shine. It also smells amazing so I basically use it like it’s water. It helps define waves and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. I’ve already reordered this twice in the past 6 months and also have a travel sized version.

Living Proof No Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner: I’ve been struggling with frizz ever since my hair became curly in the 5th grade. The duo helps smooth hair and add shine, plus it makes it easier to blow dry your hair. I can go two to three days without washing and it helps my hair feel soft. I have tried a lot of different shampoos but this has been a favorite for the past few years.
