the sunday edit, first real tree, frozen 2

This weekend, we bought our first real tree. It was fun picking it out together and starting to decorate with the kids, although I’m pretty sure I bought the wrong type of lights. We’re planning on decorating this week and putting up some Hanukkah decorations around the house. This week, Perry and Dylan went to a movie theatre for their friend’s birthday party. It was their first time seeing a movie at a theatre. It was so sweet seeing them relax in the large reclining seats, ready to watch with their popcorn, fruit snacks and cups of water.

Unfortunately, once the movie (Frozen 2) started, the excitement disappeared. It was a little too scary for them so we stepped out every ten minutes for a break or because one of them had to go to the bathroom. Eventually, we left and Perry suggested trying again when she’s five. 🙂 Truthfully, I think they enjoyed hanging out with their friends and eating pizza and cake more than the actual movie. Hopefully I can convince Julian to come see Frozen 2 with me sometime soon so I can find out what happens at the end. Have a great week and enjoy this Sunday’s links from around the web.
