Textured Skirt & Nude Heels in Belize

We’re back from Belize! This was the outfit I planned to wear on Valentine’s day, however we arrived in Hopkins that night after getting lost and driving on dark roads with no street signs and pouring rain so the very last thing I wanted to do that night was get dressed up. We ended up having dinner and immediately changed afterward into our pajamas. Since photos of me curling up in bed don’t make for an interesting blog post, I wore this outfit a few days later and J was kind enough to take some photos.

I really love the juxtaposition of wearing a loud, fancy skirt on a quiet dirt road. The skirt sits right at my diaphragm and works well with a crop top without being too revealing. It also has a beautiful texture that adds some edge to an otherwise soft look. Vivian Chan has such timeless and feminine pieces, like this ivory skort and this elegant little black dress with a twist. She’s one of my favorite designers. One of the great things about Revolve Clothing is that you can save your favorite designers to easily see anything new that comes out. Plus, if an item is sold out, like the red skirt i’m wearing, you can request a special order inquiry and Revolve will reach out to the designer to try to get more in stock. I ended up doing that with this skirt and this Paige Denim dress. Thank you for reading! xo, Tanya
