Summer Weekend Looks: Back to Basics

Hi ladies!

Below are some looks I put together to offer some inspiration for the summer. These are some of my favorites that I’ve either worn before or plan on wearing at some point.  I hope you like them:) Also, feel free to add suggestions of your own on what you think works and doesn’t work.

Thanks for stopping by and reading!

I love a nautical themed outfit and how navy blue looks against white.  Gold accent jewelry is a great accessory and looks beautiful against the blue and white stripes.  Bonus, Hollister has nicely fitted white shorts that are currently 50% off!

Maxi dresses are easy to wear and the perfect item to throw on when you’re running errands on the weekends or stopping by a friend’s house.  Throw on some cute flats (on sale at Macys plus there is a 20% coupon available) and aviators and you’re good to go:)

This is a great look that’s perfect for work or the weekend.  I especially love how the red pumps make the outfit pop.  Switching from your oversized handbag to a sleek clutch helps the look go from day to night.  Bonus, the blazer is on sale at J.CREW plus use coupon code, NEWSTYLE, for an additional 25% off!

You can’t get anymore feminine than pink!  The black and gold accessories play nicely off the black waistline.  Also, the dress is currently 30% off at Armani Exchange in case you’re interested:)

I  can’t help but think that combining a black and white striped dress (great deal at Forever 21) with a red blazer gives off a very parisian vibe.  I love the fit & flare look and it’s so easy to find now in stores. If you’re more petite, watch out for skirts that are too poofy to avoid getting into doll territory.

  1. I love all of them but #1, 2, 3 and 5 are my favorite. Nice details about where you can get the items and how to find sales/coupons. Paying attention to details, it’s important:)
