Day two of Independence Day celebrations involved going to Penn’s Landing to see fireworks and stopping by Spruce Street Harbor Park (SSHP) on our way to dinner. SSHP is a gorgeous pop-up park on Columbus Boulevard & Spruce Street with a boardwalk, lily pad gardens, games, food trucks, and pretty much anything else you can think of. If you’re thinking it definitely doesn’t have Bocce or Shuffleboard, think again because the park has both of those games and more. Open until August 31, it’s another reason to love Philadelphia and a fun place to spend summer nights in the city.
